Cup of Joe, a Baguio-based Filipino pop-rock group known for their emotional hits and rising influence in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) headlined a landmark concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan last May 23, 2026, drawing a massive crowd and marking one of the biggest achievements in their career to date.
The production proved to be a breakthrough moment for the band as they became the first Filipino act to mount a full stadium concert in the venue. Opening in cinematic fashion with a motorcycle entrance circling the entire arena, Cup of Joe immediately set a high-energy tone for Sandali: The Cup of Joe Fest, delivering a tightly executed and crowd-driven performance that fans described as unforgettable.
The night turned even more explosive with surprise appearances from OPM rock icons Kamikazee, Bamboo, and Ely Buendia, sending waves of nostalgia across the stadium and amplifying the celebratory atmosphere.
Adding another highlight, the “Friendship Reloaded” segment featured Gian Bernardino, Maki, and Will Ashley, who performed "Feeling Good" by Michael Bublé, earning loud cheers from the audience.
Notably, SB19 member Justin de Dios was also spotted among the attendees, showing support for the historic OPM event and further highlighting the strong solidarity within the Filipino music scene.
Presented by Viva Records and directed by Paolo Valenciano, the concert was widely praised as a successful, large-scale, and defining moment for OPM on one of the country’s biggest stages.
