The Script Adds Third Manila Show After First Two Concerts Sell Out

MANILA, Philippines — Irish pop-rock band The Script has announced a third Manila concert for its upcoming Man in the Arena tour following overwhelming demand from Filipino fans.

The band’s March 18 and 19 concerts at the Mall of Asia Arena have officially sold out, reflecting the strong support of Filipino fans.

Following the sellout, the band announced on June 6 that a third Manila show will be held on March 20, 2027, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Ticket prices for the newly added show range from ₱1,650 to ₱14,900, depending on seat location and package inclusions. Ticket selling will begin on June 13 at 11 a.m. through SM Tickets. The concert is presented by Wilbros Live and Midas Promotions.

The Script has maintained a strong following in the Philippines and has performed in the country several times over the years. Their most recent visit was in 2025 during the Satellites World Tour, which also drew large crowds.

During an appearance on It’s Showtime, frontman Danny O'Donoghue expressed the band’s appreciation for Filipino fans.

“You know what? It’s the people. Because the place is so beautiful, but the people are so welcoming,” O'Donoghue said. “We have an amazing time every time we’re here. We just want to keep coming back again.”

He added that the Philippines holds a special place in the band’s heart and highlighted the enthusiasm of local audiences during concerts.

“The Philippines means a lot to us,” he said. “We are trying to get bigger and better over here every time.”

O'Donoghue also shared that the band intentionally announced the concerts early to give fans enough time to prepare. He teased that the Man in the Arena tour would feature a more theatrical and immersive experience compared to their previous performances in the country.

Known for hit songs such as “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven,” The Script remains one of the most popular international acts among Filipino music fans.
